Whirl & Twirl Expo

whirl &Twirl for sponsorsHey Curlies, there has been a lot of changes going on with the blog and my natural hair community followers. After 2 years of blogging and over 13 years of rocking my natural hair I have deiced to do a natural hair expo and meet up in the British Virgin Islands.

I must say it is a lot of work and very fun, I  have gotten real positive responses and I will be posting my first Hair Vlog in the next coming weeks to promote the event.

For those in the BVI I really do hope you come to see what is show cased as well as meet up with fellow naturalistas who feel our struggle and pain of not finding the right products or getting some snide remark about our hair.

There will be prizes and giveaways from different vendors, but what is key is that you need to register as soon as possible in order to receive and reserve your Swag Bag.

Got to www.Eventbrite.com  to register, when you have done so, go to the Facebook page click on like and post “I have Registered to go to the Whirl & Twirl Expo….What did you do today”. (don’t forget to tag us)

After all the bags are gone I will then post your names on the website and on the Facebook page so you may see you have been successful in receiving your swag bag

This Expo and Meet up will have Natural Hair brands such as Kinky Curly, Miss Jessie’s, Moroccan Oil, Jamaica Black Castor Oil, Camille Rose, Alikay Naturals just to name few. There will be Natural hair and loctician experts to guide you in how to make your transition or continue to protect your hair. Come out and Enjoy

Other changes include moving the blog from blogger.com and I am now at WordPress.com and changing the name from The Ethnic Truth to EthniCurls what do you think, do you like? Do you approve? IMG_5449[1]

Final change, you can see from my pic that I am in protective style mode, I needed a little break to let my ladies relax and focus on planning the Expo, taking care of Moon and Sway and working full time, its about two weeks in but it has helped tremendously.I have to give a shout out to Stacy at Cutz Salon in East End Tortola who took the patience with my tender-headed-ness and two screaming kids. Checkout her details on my Salon Directory Page

So keep reading and soon you will be able watch my natural hair journey.

So...what yah think
